#nashvillieisnotjustcountrymusic is a thing. For real. Created by the amazing Thalia Ewing, a.k.a The Muziqueen, it is a beacon of hope and creation for creatives making music in pop, urban and hip hop.
Ewing is a veteran licensing and admin professional at BMG whose experience also includes stints at SONY and EMI. She is passionate about creatives being able to have the tools and connections to succeed, and achieve their dreams. Just like MR411.
MR411 and Muziqueen believe together we are better. Stronger. A community.
We’re all in this together, no matter where we fit on the skill spectrum.

People who love playing music
Project Music members put their ideas into motion
Everywhere you look, in every part of town, there is music happening. Songwriters, bands, rappers, performance art, country, blues, rock. Americana…. you name it it’s here.
Clubs abound, writer’s nights pop up like mushrooms and cover bands line both sides of Broadway downtown. There is truly something for everyone and the talent level is insane!
Once you are here, get the lay of the land, there are tons of places to help further your career. It all depends on what you need for your skill level.
When you’re ready BMI, ASCAP and SESAC will help you with performing rights.
But the main thing is to know where you are and what you need. That will save you a lot of time, money and heartache.
Be realistic. Everybody starts somewhere.
There’s no time like the present to jump in and start learning away. You can have fun doing this.
MR411 resources help you do a self assessment and teach you the right way to do things.
This ultimately shortens your learning curve….. if you are willing to put in the elbow grease and persistence.
Why not get started now? No, it isn’t easy… but there is good information and you can do it!
