Celebrate the New!

It’s a brand new decade!  Time for celebration. Time to reassess and plan.  Time to get to work.  Time for Better Songwriting!

Songwriting is the foundation of the music we listen to, the reason for bands to play, why we listen to DSP’s like Spotify and Apple Music or Pandora.  It’s why we pay good money to see and hear performers, bands, songwriters, rappers, concerts and attend festivals.  The Nashville Songwriters Association’s (NSAI) motto is “It  All Begins with A Song” and it’s true!

We relate to the stories songs tell, to the emotions and experiences they describe and the emotions they create within us. Why? Because everyone of us has stories, hell, we are all stories ourselves.

If you’re a songwriter, singer, musician or band, your job is create the stories we want to hear, because ultimately they are about us and our lives. Your songs transport us to other places and times, celebrate our joy and happiness, commiserate with our sorrows and disapointments, and make us want to party and raise hell!
